Sir Richard Hadlee (New Zealand) 

Sir Richard Hadlee burst onto the scene in the mid-1970s. He is third in the list of players with the most 10-wicket hauls, having achieved the feat on nine occasions. He became the first bowler to reach the 400 wickets milestone in Test cricket. 

His 15 wickets haul in a match against Australia during the 1985-86 Test series has been etched in the annals of history. He played a total of 86 Test matches, and took 431 wickets in his Test Career. 

Rangana Herath (Sri Lanka)

Rangana Herath also raked up a total of nine 10-wicket hauls in his Test career. Following the footsteps of Murali Muralitharan, he became Sri Lanka’s leading wicket-taker until he retired in 2018. 

Despite getting few chances, the left-arm spinner made a mark for himself and was even appointed Test captain in 2016. He took a total of 433 scalps from the 93 Test matches he played in his cricketing career. 

Ravichandran Ashwin (India)

Ravichandran Ashwin recently retired from Test cricket while the Border-Gavaskar Trophy was ongoing. He ended his Test career with a total of 537 wickets in 106 matches he featured in, making him the seventh-highest Test wicket-taker of all time. Ashwin notched up a 10-wicket haul on eight occasions in Test.
