Pak lose test series in India after 27 years

It took 27 years to India to beat Pakistan in a test series, at home. Strange it might seem, but after 1980 series - Pakistan lost this 2007 3 test match Indian Oil series 1-0. See Ind v Pak all test summary!

Bengaluru, for this 3rd test match, had a tough pitch for batsman to face & keepers to gather the ball. sadly, not many bowlers bowled wicket-to-wicket deliveries to enforce a result in the end. Pakistan made good start to the of chase 374 inside 48 overs but then, inside 16 balls, Anil Kumble took 5 wickets.. reducing Pakistan to 7 for 167, with 2 crucial wickets coming from Yuvraj Singh.

Ishant inswingers install hope into India

Big inswingers coming in from a height of 7 feets, on a pitch whose bounce is never true - can trouble the best in the business.. Pakistani batsmen, to tell honestly, showed great skill in reaching 537 in their first innings.

Ishant Sharma - 6 feet 5 inches rookie fast bowler thrown in by Indian selectors finally justified his selection.

Lead for India came out just 89 as this Bengaluru test moved even closer to a draw. In comes inform Sourav Ganguly.. hitting 63 off 77 (9x4, 6x1) and showing the way to "low on confidence" Dravid. Indians are now 220 ahead with 90 more overs to be bowled on the 5th & last day!

Cricket is fast becoming an easy marketing stunt for Bollywood and I ain't sure BCCI can stop'em!

After the cast of Om Shanti Om, today we had Miss Afghanistan watch Pakistan bat out the day (4 wickets, 283 runs) and make this Bengaluru test match boring! players were in whites, so was she.. and even the cricket was friendly.

The right handed batsman marched upto captain Kumble - indulging into a heated conversation, which was spontaneously stopped by both the umpires. Day 2 : Pak start well after India delay declaration

27 years since Pakistan has lost a test series in India. by hook or by crook - past Pakistani teams have build this phenomenal record over arch-rivals but now, next three days of this Bangalore match will test the courage of present boys from Pakistan. Reminder : Series is 1-0 in favor of India, so Pakistan have to win this test match. Draw is not an option!

Day 1 : UV & Ganguly make Pak look silly

Then, we had the first ever 300 partnership by two left handers, here in India. and then - Yuvraj Singh (UV) made his 3rd test century, all against Pakistan.. so far!
