The first ever 7 ODI bilateral cricket series was played between West Indies and India back in December of 1987. West Indies were world's best team in those days, and punished Indians by a huge margin of 6-1 (Indians won only the 3rd ODI at Kolkata, thanks to spin twin of Ravi Shastri and Maninder Singh).

Naturally, teams getting out for low scores in T20 cricket is equally more probable than in other two formats. why? don't we know free-ness leads of failures.

Grounds are getting smaller and bats are going broader. More over, only 20 overs per innings of 10 wickets means batsman can take chances knowing their team won't be bowled out without playing full quota of overs.
This makes following list a very interesting one : the record of most number of sixes hit in a Twenty20 cricket match.
India vs New Zealand : 25th February 2009 : AMI Stadium in Christchurch :- India batted first and hit 13 sixes in their innings. lack of middle order consolidation meant Indians finished with moderate 162/8 which Kiwis chased down.. with 7 wickets standing, and 7 balls remaining.. hitting 11 sixes.
Most of largest team totals you'll find come in world cups. cause that's when major teams get to play minnows and impose their superiority.
For big team scores, openers have to give a bristling start to their innings, utilizing power plays, backed up with strong middle overs and a murderous finish.
