So finally the good news has come. Doordarshan will be telecasting live the ODI series starting 6th of February. Doordarshan had to pay 16 crores to Tensports and they will carry both the LOGO of Tensports and also the advertisements..

So all in all, it might be a very tough deal for Doordarshan but it rarely matters to we viewers. We just want to want the matches which we were not. Whole test series was haunted as Tensports reaches just 15-20% of India - that too in big cities only. Rural areas, where the real India lives, don't have anything like cable tv and there was no chance to watch the match..

I just hope that the related officials take a note of this whole matter and plan something for the future, as nither India vs Pakistan series is going to stop nor Tensports will sit back and keep giving the pictures to Doordarshan. There has to be some way out of this tussle....
