Last time England visited West Indies, March-April 2008, pace quartet of Steve Harmisson, Simon Jones, Mathew Hoggard and Andrew Flintoff had the time of their life, winning first 3 tests with 4th test at St John's producing draw.

This Pace Quartet went on to become English winning combination against arch rivals Australians in Ashes 2005 few months later.

As Ashes 2009 in June beacons, England will be off again to West Indies 2 months earlier with similar hope to find another winning combination.

Following England vs West Indies series fixtures also contain a Twenty20 International to be played at Port of Spain on 15th March 2009 in between the 4 Test Match Series and 5 ODI series.

Note : The last One day International in the following tour schedule will be played as Day-Night game.. otherwise remaining everything will be played as Day games.
