Now England are again in India - a 7 ODI + 2 test match series will it be - from 14th November to 23 December 2008. Can English players better their previous performances in India? that remains to be seen.. meanwhile, following are some piece of informations a cricket fan might need to enjoy this England's tour of India 2008.

Schedule
4th ODI at Jamshedpur is shifted to Bangalore and will now be played as a Day-Night match. 2 Test Match series starts 11th December & 19th December. see Eng in Ind 2008 tour schedule.

Tickets

3 day night matches - first, 4th and 7th India vs England ODIs will be starting 2.30pm or 1430hrs India timing which is 0900hrs England time (8pm Sydney (Australia), 3am Chicago-USA timing, 5pm Singapore/Malaysia time and 1pm according to time in Middle East). Remaining 4 one day internationals and 2 test matches will be starting 5 hours earlier = 9.30am Indian timing and 4am UK.

Squads
Players like Kevin Pietersen, Ian Bell, Alastair Cook and Owais Shah were top performers for England on their last tour of India. English selectors have included them along with seasoned all-rounder Andrew Flintoff and Paul Collingwood. On other side - Indian selectors will be adding/subtracting players from India squad for this England series cause they are the home team. Full squad list.

Nimbus channel Neocricket has the broadcasting rights whereas Doordarshan is supposed to show the 7 one day series at least.

England team will travel to all lengths and breaths of India with Madhavrao Sindia ground in Rajkot to Maharani Usharaje ground (Jawaharlal nehru stadium) in Indore in East to Green Park in Kanpur in central going to Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore & Barabati Stadium in Cuttack in South to Nehru Stadium in Guwahati in North and back to Feroz Shah Kotla ground Delhi.. then, test matches will be played at Motera stadium in Ahmedabad & Brabourne stadium in Mumbai.
