India-Australia-Cricket-Logo.jpg Last time Australia came to India for a cricket tour and played both Tests and ODIs on one tour - was way back in February 2001. Since then, Australia have broken their tours to India into two - ODI Series at different time and then Tests later on.

Similarly, on this October-November 2008 tour - Australia play only 4 test match series. They played ODIs in 2007 and will be coming to India for another ODI series in 2009.

Following is the Full Schedule of Australia vs India test series October & November 2008.

Tour match = Australia XI vs Rajasthan = 27-28 October
Tour match = Australia XI vs TBD, 2-5 October
1st test = Bangalore, 9-13 October : Match draw (scorecard).
2nd test = Mohali, 17-21 October : India won by 320 runs (scorecard).
3rd test = Delhi, 29-2 November : Undecided (scorecard)
4th test = Nagpur, 6th November

Note : Next cricket series for India = England's tour of India which involves 7 ODIs and 2 test matches starting 14th November. See England tour of India 2008 schedule. At the beginning of year 2009, there's a proposed tour by India to Pakistan.. but that's yet to be confirmed. meanwhile, India goes to New Zealand for a full series of 5 ODIs, a T20 match and 2 test match series in March 2009. see Ind in NZ 2009 schedule.
