In recent times, when most countries have rejected to tour Pakistan - Indian board has been big supporter of their neighbors and willing to send their cricket team.This India's tour of Pakistan, starting 13th January 2009, will include 3 tests, 5 ODI series but the biggest attraction would be the India vs Pakistan Twenty20 match at 'a yet to be decided venue'. This Twenty20 match will be the first ever played in Pakistan and only the second one in sub-continent after India hosted Australia in a T20 game at Mumbai in October 2007. Following is full tour time table : January 06-08 2009 = 3 day warm-up match. January 13-17 2009 = First test, Karachi January 21-25 2009 = Second test, Rawalpindi. January 29-02 2009 = Third test, Lahore. February 06 = First ODI, Faisalabad. February 08 = Second ODI, Lahore February 11 = Third ODI, Rawalpindi February 14 = Fourth ODI, Multan February 17 = Fifth ODI, Karachi. February 19 = Only T20 match. This 47 day tour of Pakistan will be followed by another long tour of New Zealand (Ind in NZ 2009 full schedule) where Indian team plays 2 tests, 5 ODI series and a Twenty20 match - starting 6th March 2009.
