Dhoni finally won a toss and without thinking twice - he elected to bat. Sachin Tendulkar had not recovered completely from his century just 2 days ago in the first final, but champion batsman continued his responsibility & laied the platform.

Once India set Australia a target of over 5 runs per over - home team were always chasing the game. James Hopes kept Aussie hopes alive, but Indian's held their nerve to win the Commonwealth Bank triseries - their first Triseries win after entering the finals for the 4th time.
