Everybody criticized the pitch at Melbourne cricket ground (MCG) which, for the 3rd straight time, produced a low scoring match. Srilankans had already packed their bags to catch flight back home inside 2 hours of this match finished, but they managed to defend their total in this last league game of Commonwealth bank triseries in 2008, which must have improved the moral of Lankan team who now go to West Indies for a full tour.
