Nimbus-Comunications.jpg Multi million dollar deals, but very little live cricket to show to their viewers : Nimbus Channel Neo sports's story since its launch in India, has been more of a hope than profitable!

In following, we look at what cricket matches channel neo sports will be showing in year 2008. mind you - nearly all cricket tests & one day internationals telecast by Neosports, are also live on Doordarshan since the most matches are played in India & national broadcaster gets the live feeds..

Anyway, Neosports cricket schedule for year 2008 starts with

South Africa tour of Bangaldesh
in month of February & March where 2 test matches & 3 one day Internationals will be played. Neosports shows cricket played in India, and also have the television rights for all the cricket played in Bangaldesh to telecast to Indian viewers. Bangladesh vs Ireland 3 ODI series will also be live on this channel.

South Africa vs India test series
which will be played towards the end of month of March. South Africa don't play no one day internationals on their tour of India in 2008.

Australia in India
is another ONLY test match tour (no ODI) to be played in India in the month of October 2008. India vs Australia have become the most watched cricket series between any country & this Australia tour to India will have 4 test match Border-Gawaskar trophy.

England in India
will be held towards the end of the year - November & December 2008. England will play full 3 test match series against India and then 7 ODI series. schedule of this cricket series has not been made as yet, but TV telecast will be on channel Neosports, for Indian viewers.

Notes to note
** Neo sports channel is not available through DTH service providers 'Dish TV'. to watch neosports on your television in India - you've to get either Tata Sky DTH, or a few cable tv operators provide this channel to their customers.
**Neosports also has the broadcasting right for all the Indian Domestic matches (first class or national level cricket of India). it includes the upcoming Ranji one day trophy, Inter state Twenty20 tournament which will be followed by Deodhar Trophy and then NKP Salve Challengers trophy between India Blue, India Green & and India Red.
