England were bowled out for just 130 runs.. surprisingly, that doesn't surprise me! it happens all the time to all cricket teams touring New Zealand where balls swings & seams go out out batsmen's control. What does surprise me - England played out almost all quota of their overs, which is very good sign. Visitors won T20 1 at Chrischruch & T20 2 at Wellington, and although lack of attacking ability cost them this first one day internationals - standard bank series looks set for some exiting cricket in coming days..

One might wonder why England changed their winnings combination from the previous two twenty20 internationals. Luke Wright and Dimitri Mascarenhas had made way for Alaister Cook and Ravi Bopara. it was a concious defensive decision from English camp taking into account the swing Wellington pitch might offer. The trick they missed - was that agression takes the ball over the slips whereas conpact defence carries edges perfectly into fielders hands..!
