In absence of Daniel Vetorri - Brenden McCullum was captaining New Zealand side for the first time, and he did the blunder of opting to field. One good platform for England from Pietersen and Dimitri Mascarenhas (who once hit India's Yuvraj Singh for 5 consecutive sixes), hit 4 sixes today and virtually sealed it for visitors. Tremendous reception by full house crowd at Eden Park cricket ground but home team failed to chase down their target..
