Last time South Africa visited India - they lost the test series 1-0, whereas they've never been on a cricket tour to Bangladesh.

Now mid February to March through mid April 2008 - African team will be on Asia tour playing 2 test matches against Bangladesh then 3 ODI series followed by three India vs South Africa test matches.

Ask South African team and they'll tell you they've found a way to play cricket in Sub-continent. A team which never had a world class spinner - South Africa have always dependent on their fast bowlers to win test of one day matches. Now when they come to sub-continent - they feel a need for a slow bowler.. it will be interesting to see what plans Graeme Smith and Coach Mickey Arthur device to achieve success on slow and low tracks in Asia.

Mind you - South Africa don't play any ODI against India in this 2008 tour.
