That's a hindi poem I read in school. I hope most readers of itsonlycricket would understand it - but if you don't : it means forgiveness belongs to whom who has the power to destroy, not to those who are teethless poisonless soft creature.

The news : Indian cricket team has withdrawn their case over Brad Hogg as third test match at Perth starts in two days time (16th January).

Question : What about the series? are we going to win it?? of course not. can we at least draw it? now that'll mean India (the toothless poisonless creatures) to register outright wins at Perth and Adelaide.. do Indian think tank think they can achieve not losing test series to Australia in Australia?

If they don't - they shouldn't have let Brad Hogg go. If you can't bite, don't bark.

I know I'm harshly critical on a cricket team I (don't know but) love so dearly. may be Indian team can still bring their fans some glory by squaring this test series or winning the upcoming Commonwealth Bank triseries. But I'm sure Kumbles and Tendulkars and Gangulys and Dravids and Laxmans know this was their best chance to beat Australia in Australia. they should have done anything & everything to get it.. like Aussies got their 16th win.
