1) When ICC is trying to take the game of cricket to more and more countries, Zimbabwe has opted out of test cricket for a year. The goverment appointed interim commitee is not happy with the performance of the nation cricket team and also the A team of Zimbabwe. Know more..

2) India's tour of New Zealand has been postponed for the time being. The series, which was supposed to be played in February next year, was leaving very less time for both the countries to prepare for the World Cup. So the decision was accepted by both the boards.

3) England Captain Michael Vaughan says - "People have to be realistic" and they should not expect too much from the English side to do miracles in their upcoming tour of India. He bets to win anyone on English grounds but says conditions in India and Pakistan are very hard for his team and thats why they struggle. Few more words from him here.

4) Sanath Jayasuriya has been recalled into the Srilanka's ODI team who won their last match against South Africa by 94 runs. They are hoping to strengthen their batting.

5) Pakistani Captain Injaman-ul-haq had challenged Vireandra Sehwag to make runs on a pitch that has something for the bowlers. Although the admired the century Sehwag made in Lahore but he wants to see if he can do the same on bouncy pitches. Seems like he has forgotten the Multan test in 2004.

6) Asia might get the honours to host the World Cup in 2011 as ICC chief executive Malcolm Speed has said - there's always 2015 World Cup... if Australia don't manage to win this time.
