One such example was this cricketer, right arm fast medium bowler, who first made a name for himself in a test match against India at Karachi. The fast bowler broke down after taking 5 for 31, which still remains his best test match bowling figures. Pakistan airlines bowler from Peshawar has special slower delivery and he's lot more fitter these days. Hence, he leads the bowling attack for his country's cricket team. Trivia : Chak de India, the Shah Rukh khan starred Bollywood film is one of favorite of this young man! Options : Mohammad Asif, Rao Ifthikhar Anjum, Yasir Arafat, Umar Gul or Shoaib Akhtar.
IIOur second cricketer in this medium mode is again from Pakistan, but this time no batsman or bowler but a wicket-keeper! Favorite of former coach (late) Bob Woolmer, this right handed batsman has failed to impress the world wide cricket fan of Pakistan but his keeping is second to none. One of most talkative keepers you'll find around the world, who gives due respect to his seniors like Shahid Afridi when they are bowling. Hint : started first class career at tender age of 15, as a hard hitting opening batsman & keeper (never bowled, ever, in first class or Int'l cricket) - this Lahore boy so far has 4 test match centuries and 3 big ones in ODIs. Though - none of his special batting is visible these days! a 5 feet 8 inches tall cricketer is just ideal for man behind the stumps but pakistan team isn't getting any batting help from this man in stylish shades! Options : Rashid Latif, Kamran Akmal, Moin Khan, Zulkernain Haider, Asim Kamal.
IIIHe was never a great fielder, even though the adjecent picture was taken in a match against England when this slow fielder took a brilliant catch. Known to hit mighty sixes (3rd in all time ODI list), this East Zone batsman is also considered the best cricket captain ever for the Team India. Hint : Few batsman have scored 20 odd runs in one over from a bowler, but this batsman once scored 6,6,6,4,4nb,6,1 in a Ranji match. The bowler (can't remember the exact name) was a left arm orthodox bowler. Options : Sourav Ganguly, Mohammad Azharuddin, Sachin Tendulkar, Ajay Jadeja or Ravi Shastri.
IVEverything looked down for England when they played Ashes 2006 in Australia. Surprize came when English boys came out to win the Commonwealth Bank tri-series - a lot because of this wicket keeper's presence behind the wicket. Hint : made his ODI debut at the age of 36 and failed to make an test match appearence. Options : Alec Stewart, Matt Prior, Paul Nixon, Chris Read, Geriant Jones.
