Tensports cricket schedule : year 2008Filed under
Indian cricket
Once, Tensports used to be the most wanted. Today, this sports channel is picking bits and pieces as they show International cricket to Indian cricket fans, but none involving Indian team.Come 2008, Tensports is ready with exclusive rights of 9 cricket series, and 2 tours by Indian team - of Zimbabwe & Srilanka. Ask about what other major cricket series will be shown by Tensports = Asia Cup (ODI tournament between India, Pakistan, Srilanka & Bangladesh) to be played in Pakistan in March 2008 and Australia's tour of Pakistan and West Indies in February & May-July respectively. Don't see anything more very attractive in Tensports cricket bouquet, but their schedule is as following anyway. Note : Tensports is a sports channel reaching India, Pakistan, most of Asia and Middle East countries and have the broadcasting rights for the same, in year 2008. NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2007 England in Sri Lanka. JANUARY 2008 Zimbabwe in Pakistan, Windies in South Africa FEBRUARY - MARCH - APRIL 2008 Australia in Pakistan Asia Cup in Pakistan Srilanka in West Indies MAY - JUNE 2008 India in Zimbabwe Kenya, Scotlant, South Africa tri-series Australia in West Indies JULY-AUGUST 2008 India in Srilanka NOVEMBER 2008 Bangladesh in South Africa Zimbabwe in Srilanka More Notes -Indian team will be touring Pakistan at the very end of 2008 - December. Now do Tensports hold the television rights for that series as well, or not - matter is confusing. Tensports deal with PCB finished towards the end of 2008 and may be Pakistani board will sell their rights to a new channel as soon as the India-Pak series in Pakistan starts.
