But wait a minute, it won't be as easy for the young batsman because Motera stadium is ready with a cement like pitch with plenty of pace and carry to the keepers. Even the young bowlers Indian selectors are looking at - will have tricky adjustment to make before they bowl in Challenger's trophy.

The Pitch Curator, Diraj Prasanna says - 'The pitches have been prepared in such a way that there will be consistent bounce for the bowlers, in both the innings'. What Mr Prasanna doesn't say, is that it might again be a run feast for the batsman like the previous many challengers trophies have been. Batsman have always have had better time than bowlers at this once a year Indian domestic cricket championship. All the matches will be played as Day-night games, which might help the faster bowlers even more, given the coldness in the weather during evening time in India at these months in October.
