A brand new cricket series for Indian team, so fresh new channel problems for we cricket fans. ItsOnlyCricket will be tracking all the small bits & pieces of information to help you watch India England series, and to start with - know that Doordarshan (DD1 or DD national) will be showing a 1 hour highlights package of each days play in all 3 test matches between India England at Lords, Trent Bridge & the Oval.

1 hour highlights of each days play will be shown in the morning at 8am to 9am.

For those who don't know, ESPN has the exclusive rights for the series, but they have released a new channel star cricket on which the test matches will be shown. ESPN is acting smart, & looking to gain on 5 day matches before the 7 one day series starts, which will be telecast live on Doordarshan.. read this.

Neither ESPN or Star sports will be showing any highlights of the test series. Check their TV timetable here.

Another piece of update/information on this India-England series I have, is that StarCricket, the most wanted channel these days is now available through Zee Dish Tv. Not sure the other direct to home service - Tata Sky is how far from including Star cricket channel into its package, but its now available for Indian viewers through Dish TV - the first DTH service that started in India. Local cable operators are also expected in start showing the new channel soon.
