Tickets, Telecast & Timing ~ India-England cricket series 2007Filed under
India vs England
Had it been England tour of India - I promise you not tickets nor Telecast nothing would have been crystal clear for fans. Not to disrepute my countries cricket officials, but ItsOnlyCricket was in publication the May 2006 tour England cricket team did..Experience was not good. Anyways, India is on tour to England this July & August 2007, and similar kind of questions I'm expecting to be asked. So, doing bit of homework, I've found the methods for India-England cricket fans to watch this 3 tests & 7 ODI tour in little better manner. Tickets, Live telecast & Match start timing is what I'll mention below. Those interested, are suggested to read carefully, cause none of information you'll find anywhere else on the world wide web. You can say it's exclusive of Itsonlycricket.com, yet not 100% helpful. My idea was to help cricket fan around the globe in whatever little manner that I can.. The match tickets : can & should be brought from England cricket board's official website. ecb.co.uk. That site will tell you which county in Britain will be hosting what matches, be it test or one day Internationals between India & England. There is a 3 test match nPower series, to be followed by 7 odi series, to be called as Natwest series. Live telecast channels : for cricket fans in England & European countries like Ukraine, Spain, Denmark & there around - 'Sky Sports' will do the broadcasting, like they've always been. For those Indian cricket fans, three partner channels (ESS)- ESPN, Star Sports & Starcricket will do the live coverage but mind you - most of India v England matches will be live on the newest partner - Star cricket. This new channel is yet to reach every single home in India, like ESPN or starsports do, but local cable operators are expected to start showing them very soon. Thiland, Philippines, Bangladesh, south America & Pakistan can also catch this cricket series live on ESPN-star combo. Australia & Middle east cricket fans, interested in India tour of England, have to get fox sports channel, which actually is another partner of ESS. Arab Emirate cities, then Singapore & Malaysia will also get to watch this cricket series live on television through ESPN star combination. I still don't have a good potential channel for cricket fans in USA, but I'll against suggest directv or some broadband methods to watch live cricket on internet. India v/s England cricket series is a pretty long one, so I hope people around the world will find their channel, sooner or later. You can also read this article, on how to listen running commentary of India verses England cricket matches, online n free. Match Start Time : is a little tricky. I've plotted the start timings according to countries Itsonlycricket receives visitors from, but thing to note - is that the first, 2nd & 4th India vs England one day matches are day/night. means the live telecast will be starting 3 n half hour later. Readers are expected to check this India tour of England schedule, n add 3+1/2 hours to the match start timings below.
