International cricket schedule for 2007 shows no match for Pakistan, untill September's twenty20 world cup. on the other hand - you have India over n done with Bangladesh, South Africa n now this one-off charity International against Pakistan - they didn't had to play a single ball.Just for refreshment - lets recall when last time India played Pakistan in an ODI.. it was at Abu Dhabi in UAE. Having lost the 1st match, India bounced back to win the second ODI by 51 runs. Captain Rahul Dravid had made 92 while opening the innings. Now instead of banging the rain bandwagon, lets have a look at what Indian team has in store as warm-up games in England, before they play the first test match starting on 19th July 2007. India vs England 2007 series is expected to be close stuff, but India cricket team plays one 3 day practice match against Sussex, to be played from 7th of this month - Saturday. Then they move to Chelmsford for second warm-up against England A. These two practice games for India will be shown live by star cricket, new channel launched by espn-starsports partnership. Another piece of information I have for Itsonlycricket readers - is that Greg Chappell has joined ESPN-Star Sports as an exclusive presenter and commentator, joining the present commentary panel of Sunil Gawaskar, Ravi Shastri & Wasim Akram. Considered to be one of best Aussie captain's ever, Ian has been talking/writing cricket for a long time. In fact, I wrote an article, titled 'cricket commentators we listen, few good' including Ian Chappell as topic yesterday itself. I'm a little more eager to watch India tour of England on ESPN now.
