Yuvraj Singh next to end his cricketing careerFiled under

 We all know cricket is a team game. I need not hammer too much into it than just one more sentence - Your win or loss depends on how you singularly co-operate with other 10 members.. somehow, after 7 years in International arena, Yuvraj Singh of India hasn't learned it as yet.Allow me to tell how -- Story starts with this lefthanded Singh busting his knees as a result of extensive fielding drills then Coach Greg Chappell was demanding from Indian team. Time was Champions trophy 2006 in August - Mohali. A game called 'Kho Kho' was what Indian squad were indulged into. Oouch!! Bad knee sent Yuvraj into plaster of paris, & Indian team to South Africa. Doctors said he's out of for 6 months, then hesitantly agreed to Yuvraj's dim chances of playing in 9th Cricket WC in Caribbean. But ~ 25 year old wanted more. He had bright memories of Caribbean pitches suiting his type of batting, when he last played there, if World Cup in itself wasn't juvenile enough. Result - Yuvraj Singh rushed back into International cricket, in January ODIs against West Indies & Srilanka. Long 'exclusively made' external support was added to keep his cracked left knee together, making impossible for him to field properly.. forget about diving or running freely. World Cup was no special for India - so we fans couldn't see how Yuvraj has recovered. Today, Indian boys are next to long England tour whereas Yuvraj Singh completely frustrated. Repeated demand from Indian board (BCCI) for players not speaking to media - we hear Yuvraj every week. The other day, we all saw 1st India-South Africa onedayer, but did you notice Yuvraj bullying new team members like Gautam Gambhir n Piyush Chawla n Dinesh Karthik? True the cold in Belfast (Ireland) is abnormal for Indian players, but shouting at your team mates for returning balls at you while bowling isn't good. Fact is, all those three have performed a ton better than Yuvraj so far past World Cup, not to mention the dry bat Yuvi is carrying since long. Yuvraj Singh recently asked his captain to give him a fixed batting slot, but why does he forget he still gets away with lose shots he plays every next match. Its time Yuvraj pulled his shocks up, n put forward an example for his team-mates, but bully them. The best n only way to gain respect from juniors..!!
