Triplets finally got the coaching of Indian cricket team.

Get your tracking shoes on.. Indian team is on a ride you'll never forget as fans.

I repeat - get the 'tracking shoes', not the ones you wear in office ~ coz our ride from Ireland to Scotland with England n back home to India will be pretty adventurous.. Belfast, to Glasgow to Hove to London to the Oval - time table of Indian Cricket Team is as busy as it can be, and we never know which players from this squad to Ireland England will continue to be in contention for Australian ODIs in India in September.

Topic today is coach of India team. They flew yesterday without anyone appointed to the post, but a gentleman called Chandu Borde, as Manager. I'll love to disect Mr. Borde sometime later (n write some good things as well), but do you really believe as a fan that Borde will have too much say in how Indian team think-tank works in coming two months of cricket..?

I strongly doubt so. To me, the triplets have actually got the node to handle Team India coaching-strategy-team selection & everything else important to run an International cricket team. Rahul Sachin Sourav know everything one needs to know, they are all SachinSoravAndDravidSir.jpgcoaches in themselves. I elaborated my point in that article I wrote on 5th June.. and now feel good with sensible decision coming from BCCI as well.

Only requirement is these three making runs.. consistently. Then only they can advice the rising juniors. Indian captain Rahul Dravid said yesterday 'This is my last tour of England n I want to make it a memorable one with a series win'. what he didn't say - was that he's speaking for quite a few others as well, Sachin Tendulkar & Sourav Ganguly included. The fact is - these three triplets have not won a single test series for India on overseas territory.. no matter how great they feel within themselves as cricketers - till they do that, if ever they do that ~ their cricketing career will never be truly complete.

Just for information - India's last test series victory against England (in England) came in year 1986 = 21 years. We won the series 2-0.
