Mix Kevin Pietersen (the english batsman) with an Indian singer/actor (in Bihar state &; around), and then add lots of Bengali flavour to it.. I know it's tough to imagine, but try.

Manoj Tiwary is the name we are finding. born & brought up in one of four metros of India - Kolkatta & believes in Kevin Pietersen policy - hit everything towards the mid-wicket boundary. Charge the fast bowlers to force them change length & then pull your sleeve upto your shoulders as you take strike for next ball = that's Manoj Tiwary for you. 21 years & 145 days old as I write this & loves the big stage & stadiums full of crowd. Born on 14th November 1985, Tiwary has come a long way since his Ranji debut in 2005. Under 19s & stuff has helped him rise through the ranks, but I expect you to read it somewhere else. What I have for you in the following, is Manoj Tiwary - the "soon to be" Indian batsmen in a sensitive manner.

If ever cricket in poor Indian homes reached International stage - Manoj Tiwary is the example. Following is a tribute to the talent, as I go on adding to his profile in the years to come.

-:- Manoj CaptainedManojTiwary2 India under 19 team to England in a One-Day series and was vice-captain in the Test series last summer. India won both.
-:- Just by 4 runs, Manoj Tiwary missed the chance to become Don Bradman of Indian domestic cricket. In 2006 season, Manoj made 796 runs from his 7 Ranji Trophy matches, and ended up with batting average of 99.50
-:- Manoj Tiwary actually had his first taste of International cricket when India vs Srilanka 1st Pepsi ODI was slated to be played at Eden Gardens in Kolkatta. Indian team were struggling with injuries, so young Bengal batsman Manoj Tiwary was drafted into Team India squad to do 12th man's duties. Unfortunately - that match lasted only 18.3 overs before rain god blessed Kolkatta people for reminder of evening.. Manoj Tiwary was not given a Hotel room with reminder of Indian team.
-:- Manoj tiwary's father is a Indian Railway employee (working as a Fitter) at Hawrah station in Kolkatta. Goes by the name of Shyam Shankar Tiwary. Obviously, he didn't have a salary to feed a family of five and then send Manoj to a cricket coaching.. Who says cricketers from poor family in India don't reach national side? Passion is what you need. Manoj's elder brother (Raj Kumar Tiwary) finally gave in to the talent his little brother had, took a laon & sent Manoj to "Para" club.
