What was the highlight of 1st ODI at Nagpur? Apart from Doordarshan Neosports fight and Sourav Ganguly's comeback 98 - Sachin Tendulkar bowled full 10 overs and he was easily the second toughest bowler to face that black-out sunday..

After a long time, Indian team is expected to retain their playing eleven. I am sure Rahul Dravid will be tempted to have another bowler in his armoury for Barabati ODI - someone like Joginder Sharma in for Karthik or Raina. Specially the way pitches have been so flat - but it's important Sachin starts to have some responsibility as a bowler too. He tends to bowl one or two lose balls every over - but that's what we need to sort out by putting more pressure on him, as we prepare for the World Cup 2007.

I (and a 50 million more) couldn't watch the first ODI, and it's very probable that we won't be able to watch the 2nd India vs West Indies match at Barabati stadium in Cuttack as well. This doesn't mean we all Indian cricket fans will sit at peace (starting from 2.30pm to 10 pm on 24th January as it's a Day/Night ODI on Wednesday), but actually means we all will be finding other options to watch live cricket online, live scorecards or even search neosports through internet.

happened when Team India landed on Bhubhaneshwar airport on monday morning. The man belonged to kalinga Sen (whoever they are) and tried to reachout for Indian coach. You can easily watch some video footage of that incidence on a number of new channels, but no one actually has the clip of what happened.

The security was surely no-security and too many idiot people gathered on the name of cricket fans.. If you ask me, this was a incidence which is better to be forgotten as soon as possible, if ever needed to mentioned anywhere. Greg Chappell very well knows what he is upto when he is coaching the most famous sporting team in the World... so I bet he is not at all bothered.

-:- Little more about Barabati stadium in Cuttack
which hosted it's first match way back in 27th January 1982. Since then, not too many ODIs and just two test matches have been played at this ground. It's not that big stadium, and pitch is not always as flat you expect from an Indian One Day wicket. But - Barabati is being smaller in size, has always fetched close matches.

Indian team have won 7 and lost 3 One dayers at Cuttack, but most of their win have come against Zimbabwe and they have lost last 2 ODIs they have played here.
