Dubai International stadium will host the T20 matches on 11th and 13th December while Sharjah gets first and 3rd ODI. Dubai the second ODI while Sheikh Zayed stadium in Abu Dhabi takes the series into deciders with 4th and 5th ODI.
Interestingly, PCB has offered and SLC has agreed to overlap the first test match into the new year. It starts on 31st December 2013 and goes into 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of January 2014. We wonder cricketers are allowed to party on new year's eve or not!?!
Abu Dhabi hosts the 2nd test from 8th January while Sharjah gets 3rd test from 16th January, another Pakistan v Sri Lanka test match after hosting the two teams back in 2011.
Fact : Pakistan cricket board has offered to play one of the three test matches as day-night game. Last year, ICC approved the idea of playing D/N tests, leaving the final decision on two boards. Teams are free to use white or pink balls. Sri Lankan cricket is yet to decide but there doesn't seem many hurdles unless players refuse themselves, having not played such game ever. Paksiatan, on other hand, have been hosting day-night first class games for a while now.
There will be no dew factor during January in Middle East either.
