Highest and Lowest team totals in all cricket world cups.
Australia has made highest team score in ODI world cups. One of the best things about cricket world cups is that we get to see our cricket teams against diverse oppositions but, sometimes, it does get utterly boring as well when a major team is scheduled to play one of the minnows like Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Netherlands and others..

That said, cricket matches are never boring when plenty of runs are scored or wickets are falling frequently, dramatically. In following, we look at the highest and lowest totals in world cup ODI cricket.

The record of highest total was held by Indians for two editions with their 413/5 against Bermuda until Aussies blasted Afghanistan away for 417 runs at WACA in Perth in 2015 edition. David Warner made incredible 178 while Steve Smith's 95 and Glenn Maxwell's 88 rubbed young Afghan bowlers into the dirt. South Africa are only other team to cross 400 mark in World cup, doing it twice

Indians that day broke the record set by Sri Lankans of 398/5, made way back in 1996 when totals of 300 were highly rare.
