Highest and Lowest team totals in all cricket world cups.
India has made highest team score in ODI world cups. One of the best things about cricket world cups is that we get to see our cricket teams against diverse oppositions but, sometimes, it does get utterly boring as well when a major team is scheduled to play one of the minnows like Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Netherlands and others..

That said, cricket matches are never boring when plenty of runs are scored or wickets are falling frequently, dramatically. In following, we look at the highest and lowest totals in world cup ODI cricket.

The record of highest total is firmly held by Indians, the only team to score over 400 runs in an inning in this once in four year tournament, blasting minnows Bermuda back in 2007 edition. Indians had already lost to Bangladesh that season, diminishing their hopes, and this clash against Bermuda was more like a anger game. Virender Sehwag smashed 81 balls century that day while Yuvraj Singh blasted away 7 sixes in his knock of 83 off 46 balls. Sachin Tendulkar too hit 4 sixes in his 26 balls unbeaten fifty batting at no.6!

Indians that day broke the record set by Sri Lankans of 398/5, made way back in 1996 when totals of 300 were highly rare.
