Notes :

-:- All the matches have a reserve day - the day after. So, just in case a match didn't start or didn't finished, it will start from the same position on next day - the reserve day.

-:- So how exactly these grouping and schedule is made? Well, who is grouped with whom was decided accoding to ICC ODI ratings as of April 2005. At that time, the ODI ranking was in this order : Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, West Indies, England, India, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Bangladesh, Scotland, Ireland, Canada, Bermuda and the Netherlands.

And for the schedule - you must note that sequence D, A, C, B is repeated among the groups.

-:- How come the super 8's matches are already fixed? That is because, I don't know. But what it exactly means is India will always be B2 in Group B, and Sri Lanka B1 - regardless who wins between them.

Just in case a surprize comes from Bangladesh and they beat India or Sri Lanka in Group stages - they will take the name - B1 or B2, depending upon whom they beat - Sri Lanka or India.

Similarly, Australia will always be A1 and South Africa A2, New Zealand C1 and England C2, Pakistan D1 and West Indies D2.... unless a minnow removes them and take their place.

I repeat don't ask me why this pre-fixation is adpoted by ICC. Probably they want to fix which match will happen at what ground, so that spectators can plan they Caribbean visit.
