Highest score in T20 cricket is an intriguing list with just 7 batsmen scoring centuries but none of them had repeated the feat. Today, Brendon McCullum became the first batsman to have two century in twenty20 international cricket, and now also owns the biggest one..

It was Bangladesh's decision to bowl first and it worked initially as well with Abdur Razzak removing Martin Guptill in his first over but James Franklin provided the perfect foil for Brendon to launch in every sense. 94 runs between the two, McCullum raced to his century off just 50 balls as he raised another 78 runs off just 35 balls. McCullum was last batsman out.

Abdur Razzak bowled the best but consistent performers like Shakib Al Hasan went for plenty of runs.

Bangladesh were never in hunt towards their tall target. Tamim Iqbal was out 3rd ball of the innings and then Kyle Mills ripped apart the middle order. It was thanks to Nasir Hossain who cracked an impressive half century that Bangladesh managed to cross three figure mark.

It wasn't a good show at all from tigers. On the other hand, Kiwis showed they can be a force to recon with going forward in the tournament.
