Match Summary
What seemed like a good toss to win for Sri Lanka as pitch looked flat, turned out to be a blessing for Pakistan as Sohail Tanvir made new ball to swing and ate up 3 top order batsmen. Umar Gul and Mohammad Sami couldn't find their radar but spinners Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Hafeez and Saeed Ajmal were doing a super job untill Thisara Perera came at the crease to replace Lahiru Thirimanne who batted with a lot og heart. Perera propelled Lankans to a total they wouldn't have expected mid-way through the innings and this sparked their seamers.
Nuwan Kulasekara got two wickets off first two ball of the innings while Lasith Malinga and Angelo Mathews rattled the middle order. Ahmed Shehzad fought a lone battle as Pakistan were bowled out for less than a hundred in T20 cricket for the second time ever.
