Match summary

Ben Hilfenhaus, a test match special, was lucky to get a contract at last IPL auctions as he wasn't even in contention for a spot in his national team in shortest format but Chennai, in desperate need of a fast bowler who can pick wickets with new ball, have used his very well so far this season. Hilfenhaus seized the initiative for home team against their high profile visitors which eventually ended up winning them the match quite comfortably.

Well aware of the fact that they've failed to read the pitch at home ground his season, it was obvious decision from MS Dhoni to invite visitors in, hoping to play their batting as per the target overhead. As it turned out, Hilfenhaus ate up first three batsmen in his spell with the new ball while Albie Morkel did the miserly job from other end. Chennai spinners kept Daredevils in check, limiting them to just 114 which Murali Vijay, Michael Hussey and Suresh Raina knocked over with 28 balls remaining.
