The kind of batting form Delhi Daredevils has been in this tournament so far, target of 142 just wasn't dangerous enough, even though they lost Mahela Jayawardene in the very first over. Virender Sehwag smoked 9 fours and a six in his 20 ball fifty to destroy all home team's hopes while Kevin Pietersen blasted three fours and a six in his last match in this year's ipl. Ross Taylor failed once again but Delhi raced home with almost five overs remaining.

Earlier, Rajasthan were given yet another solid start by in-form pair Ajinkya Rahane and Rahul Dravid. Pawan Nagi, included in this match ahead of Ajit Agarkar, foxed home team with his slow and low left arm spin to take four wickets. Wicket keeper Shreevats Goswami batted out the overs but Rajasthan had already spoiled a great chance to post a mountainous total.

Fastest fifty in IPL : Sehwag's 20 ball half century today is now the 4th fastest ever and quickest of this season. Sehwag also completed 5th consecutive half century today which is now a record by any batsman in domestic or international Twenty20 cricket.
