Match summary
Jaipur has been a real fortress for Rajasthan ever since IPL started, winning 15 out of 20 games here untill today when they suffered only the 6th defeat. For Bangalore, this was 3rd consecutive win in this 2012 edition, slowly raising up the points table.
This memorable, and rather comfortable win for visitors was scripted by Tillakaratne Dilshan and AB de Villiers who raised an unbroken partnership of 122 runs off just 50 balls after a shaky start early on. de Villiers made a 21 balls half century which is now the second
fastest fifty in IPL this season.
Rajasthan were given a solid begining with Rahul Dravid adding the 4th fifty stand of the season with Ajinkya Rahane but none of the middle order batsmen managed to force the pace on a pitch that was offering some help for the spinners. This was first defeat for Rajasthan at home this season.
