Match summary
Batting hasn't worked for Indians on this tour so far but today, for second match in row, they bowled utterly poorly to go with careless batsmanship from top order and left little chance for themselves.
Electing to bat first, Lankans were off with the best opening stand of the tournament by any team and then Lahiru Thirimanne and Angelo Mathews finished the innings well collecting 91 runs from last 10 overs.
Indians lost wickets cheaply at the beginning and despite their best stand of the tournament between Raina and Kohli, there was too much left to be done by lone ranger Irfan Pathan. A convincing win for Sri Lankans it was.
