Match summary

For second time in row, Indian middle order failed to bat out the overs and it was all down to MS Dhoni who once again kept opposition in hunt by not accelerating enough. wickets kept tumbling even though runouts and catches were being missed and Lasith Malinga defended the 9 runs that were required off the last over with 3 runs coming off last ball.
Interestingly, there was a five ball over from Lasith Malinga called from onfield umpires. Wouldn't that had changed the result?
Earlier, Dinesh Chandimal and Mahela Jayawardene added 94 runs for 4th wicket to set up a moderate total against a potent Indian bowling.
