Match summary
It was good toss to win and bat first for Sri Lankans on a hot Perth day and Tillakaratne Dilshan gave'em a brisk start too but bowling powerplay pegged them back and run rate never accelerated again. Indian spinners bowled very well, along side Zaheer Khan's short bursts.
Sachin Tendulkar, along with Virat Kohli, lead Indians chase well but panic set in as 4 wickets fell close together before R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja patiently as asking rate was never a problem and saw their team home.
