Notes :

-:- 4th test at Melbourne, from 26th of December has a special name to it - Boxing day test match. Here's the reason why it is called as Boxing dat test match -

It's an annual Boxing Day tradition in Australia involving a cricket Test match between the Australian cricket team and the opposition national team touring Australia that summer. The match is always held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia, and traditionally sees the largest crowds for the Australian Test summer.

The number of people attending last Boxing day test match, in 2005 - Australia vs South Africa were 71,190.

What you may not know is New Zealand (at Wellington) and South Africa also host Boxing Day test matches whenever they have an international cricket team touring them... but in case either of South Africa or New Zealand themselves are touring Australia - there will be no Boxing day test in their own country that year.

Something like last year in 2005 when South Africa played against Australia.

-:- All but 2nd and 3rd matches (to be played at Bellerive Oval ground in Hobart) in this commonwealth series between Australia, England and New Zealand will be Day Night matches.
