West Indies tour of Pakistan 2006 - the schedule.


West Indies refused to tour Pakistan at a time when 9/11 happened. Thus that 2001 West Indies tour of Pakistan was played at a neutral ground - Sharjah. Which means that West Indies will be playing this 2006 tour on Pakistani soil after a gap of 9 years.

West Indies last played in Pakistan in November - December 1997.

Note :

-:- All of the 5 Pak v WI ODI's are Day-night matches and will be starting at 2pm India time.

-:- Although this will be tour of 3 test matches and then 5 ODI's, West Indian team will spend only 36 days in Pakistan. There will be no practice matches for West Indies or any twenty20 International between Pakistan and West Indies. This means that at a time when nearly every touring team is playing one off twenty20 International against the host team - India plays South Africa and England plays Australia.... Twenty20 International is yet to be played on sub-continent soil.
