Umpires for upcoming cricket series

Is it true we cricket lovers have started to care about who is umpiring for which match... or is it just me who feels like writing an information article on which umpire will be standing in India vs South Africa series, The Ashes 2006 and Pak vs WI series.

May be it's just me, but if you are reading it - you surely want to know more. So here's the list.

Ind vs SA series ;

Billy Doctrove will be standing in all 5 one dayers and so will Chris Broad as referee. Remember Chris Broad of England is regarded as one of the toughest referees in ICC Panel against bowling actions. So many times media has elaborated that Indian team tries to hide Harbhajan Singh whenever Chris Broad is the raferee.

A local umpire officiates as second umpire in all home one day Internationals for any country - so in MTN ODI series, one umpire will be South African.

For test matches -

Roshan Mahanama as Match Referee.

1st test at Johannesburg : Mark Benson of England and Daryl Harper of Australia.
2nd test at Durban : Mark Benson of England and Asad Raud of Pakistan.
3rd test at Cape Town : Asad Rauf of Pakistan and Daryl Harper of Australia.

The Ashes 2006.

Jeff Crowe of New Zealand as Match Referee for first 3 test matches and then Ranjan Madugalle for last two.

Umpires :-
1st test - Billy bowden of New Zealand and Steve Bucknor of West Indies.
2nd test - Steve Bucknor of West Indies and Rudi Koertzen of South Africa.
3rd test - Rudi Koertzen of South Africa and Aleem Dar of Pakistan.
4th test - Rudi Koertzen of South Africa and Aleem Dar of Pakistan.
5th test - Billy Bowden of New Zealand and Aleem Dar of Pakistan.

ODI series (commonwealth series between Australia, New Zealand and England) isn't important from my perspective. Thus I have egnored them. Ask me if you need their names.

Pakistan vs West Indies.

Test matches :

Match Raferee is Roshan Mahanama of Sri Lanka for test matches and Alan Hurst of Australia for Test matches.

1st test : Simon Taufel of Australia and Asoka de Silva of Sri Lanka.
2nd test : Daryl Harper of Australia and Mark Benson of England.
3rd test : Daryl Harper of Australia and Mark Benson of England.

ODI series :

Not important. Is it??
