You feel great about an Idea, you start doing it as your work - and after 10 months, you find out that it didn't do as well as it should have.

You do have some other offers to chose from, but what you decide is to give your idea an additional 4 months and again hope that it work out this time...Simply becasue you love the idea.

The above story is same for me and Indian selectors - they made drastic changes in Indian team when Sourav Ganguly was fired and hoped that new players will start performing some time soon.

It worked at times, but good enough to keep them surviving. So what they decide - to give it few more months and hope that it works out this time. And that's why you will see names like Suresh Raina, VRV Singh and S Sreesanth in the Indian squad for the tour of South Africa.

The following 16 players have been selected for the MTN 5 ODI series between India and South Africa. And also for the first ever twenty20 International of India - to be played on 1st of December.

Note - Ajit Agarkar and Yuvraj Singh are subject to fitness test and then only they will fly to South Africa. Ajit Agarkar will take a fitness test on 10th of November and in case he dosen't pss it - VRV Singh will go to South Africa.

Similarly, Dinesh Karthick will join the team in case Yuvraj Singh dosen't prove his fitness within 2 weeks.
