Last time England were in India, the happenings were forgettable as they were trailing 0-5 in one day series before terrorist attack in Mumbai curtailed the tour. This year, England return to India, but for a much shorter tour of just 5 one day internationals and then a twenty20 to round off. here's the schedule..
England begin the series with 1st one day at Rajiv Gandhi stadium in Hyderabad on 14th October, a venue that is known for it's flat pitch. 2nd India v England ODI will be at Feroz Shah Kotla ground in Delhi, on 17th October while English side will be glad to move to Mohali for 3rd ODI on 20th October, a venue which known as they fastest in India and hence may assist visitors more than home team.
4th ODI is scheduled at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai, which also hosted the final of world cup 2011, to be played on 23rd October while fifth and final game is on 26th October at Eden Gardens at Kolkata, the venue which couldn't host world cup game between same two teams earlier this year as it wasn't ready but now it is.
India and England play one off twenty20 game at Kolkata too, on 29th October.
It's not yet known which games will be played a day-night and which as day. A detailed match start time table will be added as the series comes closer.
