Then, Johan Botha came in to bowl the first over which worked superbly as he got prized wicket of Chris Gayle off the 3rd delivery. Young Darren Bravo mesmerised Delhi crowd with his stroke making but as soon as he was out, Windies batters fell like a pack of cards and were folded up for a mediocre total.

South Africans started their chase hesitently and lost two early wickets but AB de villiers showed them the way with a chanceless century, driving them home unbeaten.

This was 12th straight win for South Africa over West Indies in one day internationals.
