Doug Bollinger helped Shaun Marsh through to his century. A cricket match isn't finished untill it's finished they say, and we had a prime example of it today as Australia emerged from edge of defeat to win this second Commonwealth bank one day international quite comfortably at the end..

Electing to bowl, England bowlers found prodigious swing with new ball at Bellerive Oval in Hobart and home team top order batting had no answers for it. Ajmal Shahzad was the cheif destroyer as be bowled both openers while two more wickets fell when score board just read 33 runs. Cameron White and Shaun Marsh, batting lower down the order, added exactly 100 runs for the 5th wicket but again, visitors struck back to reduce Australia down to 8 for 142.

Doug Bollinger now joined Marsh and after playing a senseless shot, he settled down, rotating the strike and made valuable run a ball 30 which helped Marsh reach his century and push home team's total to a respectable 230.

England lost their opener Matt Prior for a duck and then Andrew Strauss and Kevin Pietersen off back to back balls which gave hopes to home team and they never lifted the pressure off the English batters. Jonathan Trott and Ian Bell made 32 each but couldn't continue while Eoin Morgan and Michael threw away their wickets trying an extravigant shot and poor runout respectively. It wasn't a tough to score pitch but some good ground fielding and accurate bowling earned them a 2-0 lead in the series.

Man of the match = Shaun Marsh.
