Match summary : Electing to bat in this day match at Napier, home team were off two awful start with McCullum runout in the third over and then Guptill claimed by young Shafiul Islam before debutant Peter Ingram and vice captain Ross Taylor raised a 98 run partnership to bring them back on track. Another quick 3 wickets against some tight spin bowling from visitors, Neil Broom with Daniel Vettori and then with Jacob Oram sky rocketed home team's total well past 300 run mark.
