Australia vs West Indies will be a 5 ODI series and home team have packed similar squad that whitewashed Pakistanis a week ago to face up caribbean challenge..Ricky Ponting is little out of form but fresh from a week's break and will captain Australia squad while Michael Clarke will be his debuty. Since Aussies are the home team, they have the option of adding or substracting players from squad last minute. Michael Hussey has been batting very well down the order and seeing off his team's innings in batting power plays while Cameron White has made most of his opportunities as batsman up at number 5, scoring a century and a fifty against Pakistan. James Hopes has been retained in the squad but Adam Voges, after only 1 game, has been sent back to domestic cricket as opener Shane Watson returns to squad after missing final to games last weekend. Watson will open the innings with Shaun Marsh who has looked in fine form thoughout but hasn't notched up a three figure score yet. Doug Bollinger also returns to lead Aussie pace bowling attack which will be without Peter Siddle who is confirmed of a severe back problems and will be curing himself for quite some time now. Ryan Harris was man of the series in Pakistan series for his 13 wickets in 3 games and will pose a challenge for Windies batsmen. Mitchell Johnson and Clint McKay are other seam bowling option in Australian squad which has only one spinner in Nathan Hauritz. Note that Australia are on 8 match unbeaten streak and will enter the record books if they can win few more games without being defeated. ODI series starts Sunday, the 7th February with second game at Adelaide on Tuesday.
