Bangladesh one day squad for New Zealand tour : Mashrafe Mortaza back.

Mushfiqur Rahim is in form wicket keeper for Bangladesh on New Zealand tour 2010. Bangladesh one day squad to New Zealand has been boosted by the return of talismanic allrounder Mashrafe Mortaza, although he caught a viral flu just days before boarding flight to kiwi land and fans may have to wait a little longer to see him in action.

Shakib Al Hasan has been given the captainship as Mashrafe is slowly recovering from his knee injury while wicket keeper Mushfiqur Rahim, who recently scored a century against India in test series at home, is the new vice captain of Bangladesh team.

Mohammad Ashraful, Aftab Ahmed, Raqibul Hasan and Naeem Islam form a strong middle order for visitors with Tamim Iqbal, Junaid Siddique and Imrul Kayes are the three pronged left handed opening options for team management. Mahmudullah Riyad, the allrounder who also bowls useful offspin, was in termendos form against India and Sri Lanka on ODI series and will be the one to watch out for, specially in the late overs and batting power plays.

Abdur Razzak, left arm orthodox, is the lone spinner in Bangladesh squad for New Zealand tour.

Bangla selectors have given priority to medium pacers to exploit New Zealand conditions with Shahadat Hossain lead the attack with slippery Rubel Hossain, young Shafiul Islam joined in by Nazmul Hossain and, of course, Mashrafe Mortaza.
