Tickets for India vs South Africa test and ODI series this February 2010, as always, will be sold by local state boards and not collectively by Indian cricket board. India v South Africa, 1st test, Nagpur, 6-10 Feb 2010South Africa play practice game at old VCA stadium, which is in heart of Nagpur city at civil lines but first test match between India and South Africa will be at newly built Vidarbha cricket association ground, situated at Jamtha, some 16 kms from main city on Nagpur-Hyderabad national highway. Capacity of over 45 thousand spectators, VCA ground hosted his first International last year and this year, tickets will be available from 1st February for general public at VCA Counter at Bishop Cotton School Ground for full test and also daily tickets on match days.India v South Africa, 2nd test, Kolkata, 14-18 Feb 2010Eden Gardens in Kolkata is under going reconstruction and hence nearly half of seats are unusable. Last time India played here, an ODI vs Sri Lanka, no tickets were sold to local public (all shared by officials, clubs and corporates) but this time, for India-South Africa test match at Kolkata, match tickets will be sold, some 43,000 in total. Price of tickets are Rs 1500 for bucket seats and Rs 750 for concrete seats. You can also buy daily tickets at Rs 300 and Rs 150 respectively. Tickets will be sold at stadium counters from 13th February but are already available at various CAB affiliated clubs like East Bengal, Mohun Bagan, Central Calcutta Sporting Club, Shambazar Club and at Pankaj Gupta Indoor Coaching Centre. online options to be updated.India v South Africa, 1st ODI, Jaipur, 21 February 2010Sawai Mansingh stadium in Jaipur comes under Rajasthan cricket association and their official site = booking.cricketrajasthan.in will sell the tickets for this first India v South Africa one day international. Fans have the option of buying tickets in advance at discount (upto 20% off if booked before 12th Febryary). 2000 tickets will also be available at Union bank branches in Jaipur city (after filling forms and submitting valid identity documents). 2nd one day match between india and south africa has been shifted from Kanpur to Gwalior where Captain Roop singh stadium will host the game. a total of 24,404 seats are available but Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) is yet to release how fans can buy the tickets. Generally, MPCA organises book of tickets at Union Banks of India branches but we've to confirm. More information to come soon. |
