England and Pakistan play two twenty20 in UAE this February 2010, which will be first International match for English boys in middle east since April 1999 when they played a triseries at Sharjah stadium against India and Pakistan (and won the cup).

England were initially scheduled to tour only Bangladesh in early year 2010 but ECB has now decided to add two more t20 matches against Pakistan, so here's all the information you may need to enjoy twin games..

Dates

Pakistan v England 1st Twenty20 on 19th February (Friday) and 20th February (Saturday). England also play England Lions (as well as Pakistan v Pakistan A on 17th Feb) in a t20 match at Abu Dhabi but those won't be International games.

Tensports is the official broadcaster of Pakistan cricket board, the organisers, and will be showing matches live in Pakistan, India and in Middle East. England viewers can watch on skysports. world wide tv channels list to be published soon.

Pakistan cricket have been arranging it's home games in UAE for almost an year now and match tickets are generally sold at www.boxofficeme.com and www.timeoutdubai.com collectively as well at the stadium counters nearly a week in advance.

Price of tickets are 75 AED for Green and orange stands, 125 AED for International stand, 220 AED for Premium stand and 500 AED for platinum stand for first t20 on 19th February. For second t20, rates will be lowers to 50 AED for Green and orange stands, 100 AED for International stand, 175 AED for Premium stand and 400 AED for platinum stand for first t20 on 19th February.

Match start time

Both England v Pakistan t20 matches will be played as night games, to start at 8pm local UAE time = 9pm Pakistan = 9.30pm India = 4pm GMT (UK) = 3am Sydney in Australia = 11am Canada = 5am New Zealand = 8am Los Angeles in US = 7pm Saudi Arabia.

England T20 squad

Paul Collingwood will captain English side with Kevin Petersen and Eoin Morgan his main players. Ahmed Shahzad is the new face with familier names like Ryan Sidebottom, Graeme Swann, Matt Prior and Joe Denly. Full England squad.

Pakistan T20 squad

will be captained by Shoiab Mallik who has made it clear he can't lead side but since Shahid Afrid is serving 2 match ban, Mallik with stand in.. wicket keeper Kamran Akmal has been dropped while Abdur Razzaq makes a comeback. Full Pakistan squad.

Grounds

Both matches will be played at Dubai sports city ground in Dubai, which is a newly built multipurpose sporting venue, inagurated in April 2009. So far, Dubai has hosted 2 one day internationals and 3 t20 games and is usually good for batsmen and spinner.

Head to head

England and Pakistan have played two twenty20 matches before and shared wins. First meeting was at Bristol back in August 2006 which Pakistan won by 5 wkts while T20 World cup 2009 meeting went in Pakistan favour, by 48 runs.
