1) It was around 43 degrees at Jamshedpur on 12th April when England managed to win a one dayer against India... at last. 6th one dayer at Keenan stadium proved to be lucky for them but still English media are not satisfied and they have called for a "Heat Rule" in International cricket.
I understand their problem and feel that BCCI must have scheduled some Day/Night matches in this India England series, as the heat at this time of year does go little too high, but making some rules to stop this is absolutely rubbish. Cricket is a game that you have to play in difficult conditions and whoever comes good - ultimately wins. Look at Australian who proved they can win in India and recently won the 1st test match in Bangladesh as well - after being down and out for all the first four days!!England is never going to match Australian's capabilities in cricket, if they keep asking for such odd rules and not concentrate on playing good cricket!! 2) Pakistani "Bom Bom Afridi", I mean shahid Afridi has announced that he won't be playing Test cricket till the coming world cup. Do not confuse with him saying bye bye to Test Matches for ever. He just wants to stay focused on one day cricket and develop some special skills for the time being so that Pakistan can be benifited. Here's what Afridi has to say..but I think its a good decision from him!!?!! 3) The only time a USA cricket team played an international tournament was in the ICC Champions trophy in 2003. After that, USA was banned from taking part in the ICC Intercontinental Cup because two different fractions of people are trying to control the National cricket team, which, of course is not appropriate. But now the situation is chaning and cricket is coming up in International cricket. Last month the ICC agreed to reinstate formal recognition of the USACA, subject to it holding independently-monitored elections of its officials before the end of November.
